Dear Gap Partners, We want to say thank you very much for your support which you gave to these four people so that they could come to Uganda and be with kids of the God is Good Primary School. It was amazing to see the way these two men and two women cooperated with the teachers and school directors for these eight days. This group di not rest even a single day; they worked so commitedly like God’s sent and they left a very remarkable impact in our village. My appreciation to them. |

Our last day began with a trip to the pharmacy. Wilson used to work for an Indian man who owned a pharmacy downtown. We purchased enough malaria medication to get the team to Uganda, then purchased enough for the duration of a trip once we arrived. You can't beat $0.05 per pill! |

This morning we stayed at the guest house while Wilson went into work for a few hours. That gave Trevor time to complete his document related to the 22 students he assessed. The guest house has a binder, so he put together a 14 page document/book that included the issues for each child and practical suggestions on how to help that child to improve in the classroom. Carrie also put together a book of exercises that can help those students with writing to practice their letters. Wilson can use this book as an original that he can take to get photocopied so they can continue to use these exercises in the future. |

We started off the morning wondering where Pastor Wilson was, if all was well, etc. We reminded each other that we were on “Africa Time.” Wilson arrived at about 10:45am to fetch us. It was nice to have a slow morning where we could get some rest. |

Today started with chapel at God is Good. After singing and dancing, Trevor delivered a message on the special place that children have in the kingdom of God. I don't think that I have every seen Trevor so animated:-) After chapel Carrie, Julene, and Trevor visited the final class that we had not yet taught in. |

We were back at the school again today. Trevor and I finished assessing the students that the teachers had identified. Well, Trevor did the assessing; I just played with them with a beach ball while he watched their gross motor functions. I was a very good assistant:-) |
